The original Eckl’s Restaurant is one of the oldest buildings in the Orchard Park area. The structure celebrated its 200th anniversary in 2016. It has long been a landmark in Western New York. No definitive record has been found as to the use of this building when it was constructed in 1816, but reliable lore tells us that over the years since, it has been used as a saloon, feed store, notions store, place of worship, and tavern-restaurant.
Jim Cornell purchases the iconic Southtowns destination and reopens for its highly appreciative and loyal following developed by Dale & Shirley Eckl.
